Cymatics is the science of the visualization of the invisible waves that surround us. Unique interactive musical elements, including a Ruben’s Tube organ, a Tesla Coil speaker, and a series of Chladni Plates. Visitors will learn about the beautiful mathmatical principles that underly music, and the production of sound.

PMIL is developing, with the assistance Princeton University’s “Glass Guru” Michael Souza, a unique experiential exhibit that illustrates the importance of advances in glass technology for society.

This exhibit will center around Mankind’s use of the natural resources of the seas, and how to sustainably use those resources to promote human flourishing. It features rare antique fishing implements: nets, floats, bamboo fishing poles, handmade lures and tied flies. This showcase of ingenuity will include modern implements, including an interactive model of modern aquaculture systems, boat radars, and a variety of electronic systems.

This is one of the most sought-after and rarest models of Corvette. Fifty Golden Edition Corvettes were rumored to have been made in 1962 to honor the 50th anniversary of Chevrolet.

This exhibit will be displayed in context of the innovations to car design that Chevrolet introduced over the years.

This exhibit will be a centerpiece for a further discussion on the roles, benefits, and drawbacks of wind-power in the modern era.

A generous benefactor has permitted us to share his legacy of 75 years of Model Train collecting with the next generation. The exhibit includes extremely rare models from companies such as Bachmann, Williams, and Lionel. The railways were and are an essential part of the Westward Expansion of the United States.

The Austin Healey 3000 MK II is a British Sports Car from the 1960s. During the same era that man was walking on the moon, innovations in engine design and mechanics allowed Austin Healey to finish well in most major racing circuits around the world, including Sebring (USA), Le Mans (France), and Mount Panorama Circuit, Bathurst (Australia). We plan on showcasing this car alongside other advancements from the same era to provide context for our visitors.

This first-year Austin Healey was modified by Max and Ina Balchowsky from Sunset Motors Co. CA. Max and Ina were a dynamic husband and wife duo who are famous for building “Old Yeller II.” “Old Yeller” was known as the “Junkyard Dog”, Built from scraps in the junkyard, in 1960, it went on to beat a brand new Ferrari Testa Rossa @ Santa Barbara, Jaguars, and the Maserati Birdcage in races all over the world. This particular car is also unique in that it was originally built in honor of Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation. Racecar companies and the hot-rod modifiers often pushed automotive engineering to new heights. This rare, one of a kind car will be the perfect centerpiece for the stories of the daring young men and their driving machines.

The exhibit will include 2017 & 2023 Corvette Z06s. These exhibits will be utilized to show how competition causes rapid innovation. See the difference a few years can make! Material availability promotes innovation. carbon fiber, aluminum headers, or electronics: Heads up displays and dynamic braking. Even the engine is in an entirely different place in the two cars!
