Peter Colvin, Treasurer
Princeton ‘21
”Mentor me, raise me upon your shoulders, satiate my scientific curiosity, & I will to pay it forward in service.”
Peter is passionate and service-oriented. He has honed his work ethic and passion for helping others while volunteering over 1,000 hours with 4H, VBS, and camps for at-risk youth in the diverse landscapes of the Pacific Northwest and on the Eastern Seaboard with Princeton Outdoor Action and Special Olympics.
Touched by a visit to Princeton University's campus power plant and storage facility, Peter solidified his interest in energy storage, engineering, and industry.
Joining the Princeton University Class of '21, Peter's journey led him to the crew team, where he achieved notable success by earning a silver medal at the IRA Championships his senior year, showcasing his commitment to both academics and athletics.
Armed with a Bachelor of Science from Princeton in Chemical & Biological Engineering and certificates in Engineering & Management Systems, as well as The History and Practice of Diplomacy, Peter has now embarked on a dual JD MBA program at Boston College Law, driven by his passion for science, energy, and natural resources.
As an outdoor enthusiast, pursuing a Private Pilot's license, Peter's roots in the Pacific Northwest have instilled in him a love for adventure, and his servant leadership approach is evident in his commitment to performing science experiments with a message that inspires others. He is looking forward to providing that inspirational experience for visitors and guests of PMIL, while embodying his philosophy of mentorship, continuous learning, and paying it forward in service.
